भारत कधीच 'महासत्ता' का बनू शकणार नाही?

महासत्ता म्हणून आपण काय साध्य केलं पाहिजे यावर हे अवलंबून आहे. आज आपण महासत्ता म्हणून अमेरिका, चीन या देशांकडे बघतो. आपल्याला ह्या देशानं सारखं बनायचं आहे का? हे देश संरक्षण क्षेत्रामध्ये आधाडीवर आहेत. हे देश इतर कुठल्याही देशाला युद्धामध्ये सहज हरू शकतात. जागतिक बाजारपेठेवर ह्या देशांचे वर्चस्व आहे. पण प्रश्न उरतो कि ह्या देशातील लोक आनंदी आहेत का? LMspencer/Shutterstock जर तुम्ही महासत्ता असूनही जर तुमच्या देशातील लोकं जर आनंदी नसतील तर त्या बिरुदाचा काय फायदा? हे म्हणजे तुम्ही खूप श्रीमंत आहात पण तुमच्या कुटुंबातील लोक खुश नाही आहेत. जर तुम्ही World Happiness Index चा रिपोर्ट बघितला तर त्यामध्ये पहिल्या टॉप १० मध्ये जगातील बलाढ्य देश नाहीत. ह्या यादीमध्ये फिनलँड, न्यूझीलंड, नॉर्वे, स्वीडन ह्या देशांचा समावेश आहेत. हे देश लौकिक अर्थाने महासत्ता म्हणून गणले जात नाहीत. पण ह्या देशातील लोक आनंदी आहेत. आनंदी आहेत ह्याचा अर्थ असा नाही कि ह्या देशातील लोक आहेत त्या समाधानी आहेत. तर ते उच्च दर्जाचे जीवन जगतात. मी जेव्हा उच्च दर्जा म्हणतो तेव्हा मला असे म्हणायचे आहे कि ह्या...

 महात्मा गांधींबद्दल मला माहित असलेले गैरसमज म्हणजे: १. गांधींनी पाकिस्तान स्वत्रंत झाला तेव्हा त्यांना ५० कोटी देऊ केले. २. भगतसिंग जेलमध्ये असताना त्यांना सोडवण्यासाठी गांधींनी विशेष प्रयत्न केले नाहीत. ३. महात्मा गांधींमुळे भारतास स्वतंत्र होण्यास अधिक वेळ लागला. ४. महात्मा गांधी हे हिंदू विरोधी होते. ५. महात्मा गांधी हे स्त्रीलंपट होते. ह्यामध्ये अजूनही काही समज-गैरसमज असू शकतील. हे गैरसमज खूप पूर्वी पासूनचे आहेत... म्हणजे मी अगदी शाळेत असताना ह्या गोष्टी ऐकल्या होत्या ... त्यामुळे social media - फेसबुक व्हाट्सअँप ह्या साधनांना दोष देण्यामध्ये काही अर्थ नाही ... मी शाळेत असताना हि साधने नहोती ... त्यामुळे हे गैरसमज लिखाणातून किंवा चर्चासत्रातून निर्माण झाले असावेत. ह्या गैरसमजांबद्दल माझं वैयक्तिक मत मी येथे मांडतो. १. पहिला गैरसमज म्हणजे पाकिस्तान स्वत्रंत झाला तेव्हा त्या देशाला ५० कोटी देऊ केले. मला हे साधारण १९९५ ते २००० मध्ये समजलं असेल ... जेव्हा हे ऐकलं तेव्हा गांधींचा खूप राग आला होता ... एकतर पाकिस्तान आपल्याला सोडून गेले आणि वर ह्यांनी त्यांना ५० कोटी रुपये दिले ... २...

When I say 'I am an Instructional Designer', people confuse it with the term 'Interior Designer'. Even though there are a quite few similarities between these two roles, they belong to totally different business spaces. An interior designer plays a key role in designing the interior of a house or commercial space while an instructional design plays a key role in designing the learning elements for a learner (who can be a kid or a working person, or a woman from rural area).  When there is a need of training, an instructional designer comes into a picture. A cricket season is back! India is playing test matches against Australia. One of the most discussed topics was whether Virat Kohli should come back to India between a tour to accompany his wife as they are expecting their first baby. In India, you will get opinions on both sides, which is OK. However, some of the ex-cricketers are saying that Virat is on national duty and he should have stayed back to support the team. There is no doubt that Diego Maradona was a football legend. At the same time, he was in limelight due to non footballing reasons too. ADDIE model is used to design the training for employees or participants. ADDIE stands for Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluation. Any training material has to go through these stages before it is delivered to learners. Let's explore each of these stage in briefly.  Analysis: This is the first stage and the most important one. India's Tour of Australia

India is going to tour Australia in the month of November and December to play T20, ODI and test matches. Last time, India trashed Australia less Warner and Smith in the test series by 2 - 1. This time it would be interesting to see if they can repeat this feat. It won't be easy. This time Australia's batting is much stronger as Warner and Smith are back and Labuschange is at the number 3. On the other side, Virat Kohli will be only available for the first test as he will leave the tour in between as he is expecting his first child. Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma are not fully fit so it will be interesting to see if India can put a fight with the Aussies. My prediction is Australia will win the test series 3 - 0 0r 3 -1.
